    The primary purpose of this position is to perform acetylene and electric arc welding in support of other units in the squadron: to ·perform metal body work on painted wood. repaired body areas and completed vehicles or equipment; perform radiator and tank repair. ctd

    • ctd glass work and other miscellaneous tasks on a wide variety of automotive vehicles, engineering and construction equipment and powered ground equipment.
    • Performs acetylene, electric arc and/or mig cutting, brazing or welding on a wide variety of mobile equipment and equipment components made ctd
    • ctd various metals including structural or stainless steel, cast iron.
    • Performs body work.
    • Cleans. tests and repairs vehicle radiators and associated parts.
    • Refinishes vehicles and equipment.
    • Removes, cuts and installs automotive glass.
    • Utilizes safety practices and procedures and maintains safe and clean work environment.
    • Removes, repairs and replaces vehicle upholstery.
