    Responsibilities

    • Serves as a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist with full oversight and technical management of a team of emergency management specialists and contingency planning professionals and Chief of the EOC.
    • Conducts operational plans and contingency operations in support of National Security Emergency Preparedness (NSEP).
    • Makes decisions and/or initiates recommendations as to selection, promotion, transfer, commendation, training, and discipline of subordinate personnel.
    • Performs a wide range of duties to include planning, analysis, development, and coordination, as well as evaluation of current and envisioned emergency preparedness/contingency plans and concepts.
    • Establishes and monitors procedures to submit operational data reports through command and control systems in peacetime and under emergency conditions.
    • Reviews and makes recommendations for priority emergency assignments to supporting and supported organizations.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
