    You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Labor and Employee Relations), in the Total Force Strategy and Management Department, Personnel Policy and Programs Division, of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV, located in Patuxent River, MD.

    • You will conduct investigations and explore probable causes, contributing factors, and possible courses of action to resolve issues.
    • You will report and answer data calls as requested by the supervisor.
    • You will develop and present formal Employee Relations (ER) training to employees and/or supervisors on various topics.
    • You will assist supervisors in correcting work deficiencies, poor performance, and/or leave abuse.
    • You will coordinate and/or prepare responses to meet external program reporting requirements.
    • You will conduct research of third party case law decisions and gather background information to prepare formal correspondence on the full range of disciplinary actions.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
