    The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert advice on AF spectrum dependent equipment acquisitions that require access to the electromagnetic spectrum. Represents the agency as a key member on various national level gov working groups which implement frequency allocation policy and participates in other groups that review, recommend, and approve allocation.

    • Performs program evaluation of a full range of spectrum management engineering programs carried out at command and wing/installation level throughout the agency; and develops and executes improvement/enhancement plans.
    • Performs professional electronics engineering work involved in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes in the area of Spectrum Management.
    • Participates in conferences and meetings to deliver presentations on substantive mission and support issues, project/program status, accomplishments, challenges encountered and anticipated, support requirements,
    • (cont) and the integration and advocacy of program and project objectives as it relates to the substantive mission of the Command in the area of Air Force Spectrum Management.
    • Implements electromagnetic spectrum engineer programs and special projects. Serves as a project officer responsible for the successful implementation of various electromagnetic spectrum engineer programs/projects without technical assistance.
