Education and length of practice will be considered through a formal pay-setting process in determining the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay).
This is an open continuous announcement until the position is filled.
The Selectee will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of patient care in both outpatient and inpatient care settings of pulmonology, sleep medicine, and/or sleep related disorders, CPAP, including Pulmonary Function testing, biopsies; standard Pulmonologist/Sleep Medicine procedures.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, consulting, and ordering diagnostic studies.
- Performing evaluative testing and readings of CPAP/sleep related disorder testing.
- Consultative services to patients referred from other sections of the hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics as well as providing emergency inpatient or Emergency Room consultative services as assigned or designated.
- Consultation and administrative duties at which may be assigned by the Associate Chief of Staff of Acute Medicine to meet the need of the medical center.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday). On-call 24/7 by phone consultation as needed.
