    These positions are located in the Records and Declassification Division (RDD), Executive Services Directorate, Washington Headquarters Services. RDD has primary responsibility for the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern Records Management and Document Declassification services to the Immediate Offices of the Secretary and Deputy Secretary, the OSD Components, and to the Defense Agencies and DoD Field Activities.

    Your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • The incumbents are responsible for day to day management of the mandatory and systematic declassification programs.
    • Conduct a line by line analytical and evaluative review of Office Secretary of Defense (OSD) information for purposes of
    • determining declassification and/or release.
    • Ensures that classification retention decisions are in accordance with Executive Order (EO) 12958 (as amended), applicable public
    • laws, and agency regulations.
    • Responsible for providing initial, reinforcement or impact training to contract staff and special targeted audiences.
    • Incumbent provides input to the Division Chief regarding the resource requirements, funding allocations, and project milestones for
    • mandatory, and systematic declassification.
