    The primary purpose of this position is: To provide specialized knowledge and expertise of military personnel practices and programs in support of the organization's personnel management and mission requirements. Serves as an Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records Examiner in examining/analytically reviewing applications for correction of military records.

    Responsibilities

    • Reviews and analyzes cases, develops recommendations, and presents application for the correction of military records to boards and deciding officials at Service/Component level.
    • Assists the information technology Engineers with the operation, maintenance and management of the military personnel data system and the electronic case management tracking system for the AFBCMR.
    • Reviews case files to determine if all relevant issues have been fully addressed by the office of primary responsibility.
    • Formulates policy or guidance for use by other organization levels. The examiner reviews military personnel programs for the Service/Agency.
