As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the GS-0501-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serves as a Financial Management Analyst and subject matter expert (SME) for Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) with responsibility for FIAR preparations in order to prepare DSCA and direct report activities for external audits by certified public accountants for DSCA financial operations and financial reporting as required by various legislative actions.
- Analyzes the results and potential effects of budgetary actions and review results applicable to financial improvements to determine and communicate the implication of key findings on the DoD FIAR Plan and DoD Agency-Wide and Component financial statements.
- Provides technical advice in identifying and resolving problem areas involving regulatory requirements and statutory policies and procedures.
