    About the Position: Serves as an Insider Threat (lnT) Analyst (Personnel Security) for the Insider Threat Analysis Cell within the Army lnT Operations Branch (Hub), Army Protection Directorate, G-3/5/7, Department of the Army. The insider threat mission incorporates seven lines of effort supporting National, Department of Defense, and Army policies and directives on insider threat.

    • Responsible for conducting insider threat risk analysis management, reviewing insider threat reports for potential risk, and assessing threats based on physical and general security.
    • Analyzes, develops and advises on insider threat risk mitigation options for Army senior leadership regarding matters for potential Army enterprise-level implementation
    • Conducts and manages insider threat risk assessments and referrals for the Army lnT Hub.
    • Analyzes information to advise on methods to deter and detect insider threats as well as assess associated risks that support investigative and command responses for the protection of information, personnel, and resources for the U.S. Army.
    • Utilizes risk management best practices and procedures to assess and determine risk priority based on available information.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Business travel may be required 10% of the time.
