     As an Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN), you will:

    • Collaborate with managers and other specialists to develop, review, and analyze a wide range of modified, new, or proposed IT related policies, standards, guidelines, and directives. Assesses the impact of changes on USAID information technology (IT) practices and operations.
    • Conduct analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, or other research, including research of data from diverse sources.
    • Extract and assembles information. Uses advanced analytical techniques to develop conclusions.
    • Develop written reports and oral presentations to recommend changes to projects or procedures. 
    • Conduct feasibility studies, and evaluates and develops recommendations to address IT project management issues. Communicates complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel.
    • Prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues or IT/business processes.
    • Evaluate client information systems needs to ensure the project scope, requirements, and deliverables are appropriately defined in contractor Performance Work Statements.
