    This position is located in the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN), Office of Cosmetics and Colors (OCAC), which is responsible for the Division's activities related to providing regulatory and compliance guidance on certified color matters.

    • Negotiates with individuals such as Congress; other Federal agencies; state, local and foreign governments; the regulated industry; professional and industry organizations; and public interest groups.
    • Applies knowledge of administrative and program management principles and skills to carry out the mission of the Division as well as to address and solve unusual and often precedent-setting problems associated with varied program segments.
    • Defines objectives and general operating procedures and exercises related personnel management functions, which include the development and assignment of goals, objectives and policies for subordinate supervisors and organizations.
    • Directs the implementation of new laws, regulations and guidance documents which have an impact on the mission of the Division.
