    Summary

    This position is located in the Bureau of Administration, Office of Operations, Office of Facilities Management Service, Central Resources Division. You will serve as an expert advisor to the Director, Officer for the Office of Facilities Management Services identifying and proposing solutions to complex administrative management problems to the director. In addition, you will serve as a first level supervisor over a staff of positions in grades GS-9 to GS-13.  CTAP welcome to apply.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides overall administrative management for the Office of Facilities Management Services. This includes interpreting administrative polices, defining administrative requirements, providing advice to top management.
    • Exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with officials throughout the Department, as well as other federal agencies. Performs COR duties and contract administration. Prepares reports and conducts studies of internal administrative process.
    • Evaluates the performance of subordinates; plans work to be subordinates; sets performance standards; evaluates performance and counsels employees; give advice, counsel and/or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters; training needs for employees and promotes acceptance and adherence to provision of the Department’s EEO program.
    • Overseeing contractors efforts, provides technical requirements and descriptions of work to be accomplished, set deadlines, integrates work schedules and processes with work of subordinates, track programs and quality of performance, and decides on the acceptability, rejection, or correction of work products or services.
