    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-11. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    • Monitor and evaluate recipients of CPD Programs and other grants. This process requires planning, scheduling, conducting on-site reviews, analyzing information, coordinating group activities and recommending subsequent actions.
    • Assess the adequacy of the grantee’s management system(s), and with determining compliance in such priority areas as program process, accountability of awarded funds and program income, program benefit, national objectives and eligibility, effective use of funds and sub-recipient management.
    • Develop training programs and help train those involved in making judgments concerning disaster assistance program requirements, such as activity eligibility, compliance with other statutory requirements, adequacy of grantee performance and reporting.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 6-11 nights per month
