    In this position, the incumbent is responsible for serving as an advisor/consultant on acquisition management. Typical work assignments include:

    • Direct oversee and participate in all phases of acquisition process, from requirements identification through closeout
    • Participate in the development and recommendation of policies and procedures
    • Participates in contract review boards
    • Interprets contract specifications
    • Manages contracts cost/schedules control systems and reports
    • Oversees the preparation of responses for issuance of necessary solicitation amendments
    • Serves as COR, performing full range of contract administration duties

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel 1-5 days per month for this position.
