    About the position:

    The DCMA Small Business Program mission and objective is to evaluate and analyze how well prime contractors ensure small businesses receive a fair proportion of prime contractors' subcontracts.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible to support and serve as an advisor and technical assistant to the Director, Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) in programs, policies and procedures.
    • Employee is an Agency focal point for communications with SBA, especially as they relate to small business policy and contract management issues.
    • Serves as the formal Agency small business liaison for the DoD Procurement Technical Assistance Program.
    • Works with the Director DCMA Procurement to ensure that appropriate small business procurement policy and guidance is planned, developed and implemented throughout the Agency's acquisition workforce.
    • Serve as the Agency Small Business Program training and continuing education specialist.
    • Serve as Awards Coordinator, implements and administers an agency-wide Small Business Awards Program.
    • Responsible to ensure that Small Business Program processes are integrated in all DCMA processes, as appropriate.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - Business travel required 25% of the time.
