    You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the Capital Improvements Business Line of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST.

    • You will independently handle complex mechanical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); and piping projects which require oversight, coordination, guidance, engineering, design, and construction services.
    • You will thoroughly evaluate to confirm installations comply with the design intent and provide the desired levels of system performance.
    • You will provide post construction award services including review and approval of contractor?s submittals to determine that they conform to the requirement of the contract drawings and specifications.
    • You will provide leadership and specialized engineering consultation and support to the mechanical engineering community of practice.
    • You will investigate and evaluate mechanical issues and concerns in existing facilities and develop reports that include recommendations and options for remediation or corrective measures as applicable.
    • You will provide definitive direction for Testing, Adjusting, Balancing and Startup (TABS) requirements and the associated Performance Verification Testing (PVT) as part of the facility final acceptance process.
