    You will serve as a COMPUTER SCIENTIST with a specialty designation of Information System Security Developer (631) in the Cybersecurity Engineering Support Branch of the Cybersecurity Engineering Division (Code 58) of NIWC PACIFIC (formerly SPAWARSYSCEN PACIFIC) SAN DIEGO CA.

    • You will analyze design constraints, trade-offs and detailed system and security design, and consider lifecycle support.
    • You will assess threats to and vulnerabilities of computer system(s) to develop security risk profiles.
    • You will design and develop cybersecurity or cybersecurity-enabled products.
    • You will develop cybersecurity designs to meet specific operational needs and environmental factors.
    • You will develop mitigation strategies to address cost, schedule, performance, and security risks.
    • You will employ configuration management processes and ensure security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
    • You will verify stability, interoperability, portability, and/or scalability of system architectures.
    • You will manage cybersecurity projects to include management of schedule, resources and risks.
    • You will review and assess the overall progress of the project's effort and provide solutions to resolve technical difficulties to satisfy both cybersecurity and overall project goals and requirements.
    • You will design, develop, test and evaluate information system security throughout the systems development lifecycle.
