The position is located at the Salt Lake City VHA System The position is designed to provide assistance to the Audiologists and the Speech Language Pathologist in meeting the clinical needs of the patient population. The incumbent is under the guidance of the professional Audiology staff. He/she does make independent decisions about appropriate service delivery decisions, seeking clarification and /or assistance when appropriate.The Health Technician position is designed to provide assistance to the Audiologists and the Speech Language Pathologists in meeting the clinical needs of the patient population served in the Clinic.

Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Part-time; 20 hours per week; Mon-Fri between 7:30am to 4:00pm * Salary range reflected is based on full-time rates. This is a part time position.
