    The RPA is expected to assist the radiologists in daily clinical duties to include, but not limited to:

    • Responsible for open communication with patients, families, and Medical Center staff including giving critical/emergent results to ordering providers.
    • Serve as the initial contact regarding radiology/ imaging questions for clinicians, technologists, and other medical staff
    • Completing CPRS notes as needed for documenting important findings and other communications with the ordering providers.
    • Protocolling imaging orders.
    • Performing fluoroscopy for general fluoroscopic examination
    • Assist in diagnostic ultrasound (US) and fluoroscopic guided procedures
    • Administering IV fluids, medications, or contrast agents as needed.
    • Obtaining and documenting informed consents.
    • Ordering of laboratory tests and imaging studies
    • Requesting consultations from other medical services
    • Manage patient contrast extravasation and contrast reactions
    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
