This position is located in the United States Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner for Financial Services & Operations, Debt Management Services (DMS) / Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Debt Management; Do Not Pay Business Center in Washington, DC.
As a Government Information Specialist, you will:
Plan, lead, and coordinate DNP (Do Not Pay) governance processes for all analytical projects and new agency data source access.
Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies and procedures for the Do Not Pay program. Additionally, support agency program customers in developing and implementing privacy-related policies and procedures within their own departments, agencies, or organizations, etc.
Conduct analyses, evaluations, examinations, or other fact-finding studies related to the Privacy Act Programs being conducted within agency program customers.
Develop or assess different levels of project plans necessary for identifying all the major tasks, deliverables, completion dates and criteria for completion.
Manage programs/projects and implement analytical and program management techniques to improve processes.
Occasional travel - Minimal travel may be required
