Coordinates the preparation of a broad range of information resource documents critical to policy and decision making processes.
Establishes/maintains effective working relationships with management officials and program contacts. Establishes/maintains effective communications and assures a high level of service to all USDA elements and other governmental offices. Represents the USDA at events, industry conferences, and other high-level meetings on sensitive food safety matters. Coordinate and manage special projects. Facilitates topical or decision-point discussion groups. Formulates recommendations involving substantial agency resources. Researches, analyzes, and writes materials relating to program issues.
Analyzes FSIS program needs and goals. Forecasts upcoming program priorities and problems.
