    Summary

    You will serve as a COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR in the Modernization and Development Directorate of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.

    Responsibilities

    • You will provide consultation to region and installation staffs in developing direction in communication activities to support the total installations effort.
    • You will provide in-depth analysis and assessment of existing and planned communication methods, techniques, and tools in order to refine and improve efforts to better tell the installation story.
    • You will establish and maintain effective working relationships to coordinate with the communities of practice for journalism, communication outlets, online content management groups and organizations, and public engagement forums.
    • You will write and edit materials, such as reports, articles, news letters news releases, public statements, speeches, brochures, pamphlets, and scripts.
    • You will coordinate presentations; television programs, segments, and interviews; live and recorded radio broadcasts; personal appearances; and news conferences.
    • You will design multi-media graphics, displays, visual products and exhibits intended to inform, train, convince or entertain.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
