    You will provide supervisory oversight to Human Resources professionals performing recruitment and placement work. The team provides technical advice and guidance to program managers, supervisors, and employees on a wide range of civil service human resource management program issues related to federal hiring.

    • The duties may include, but are not limited to:
    • Supervising a section of Human Resources Specialists and Assistants performing the full range of federal staffing activities
    • Monitoring, tracking, assigning, and evaluating the work of the section to monitor individual performance and progress towards agency and customer hiring goals
    • Providing technical assistance and guidance to staff on a variety of complex human resources areas
    • Interpreting personnel rules and regulations to ensure that recruitment and placement activities conform with applicable statues, laws, and directives
    • Ensuring that supervised employees complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner
