    You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Contract and Grant Awards Division of the OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.

    • You will exercise unlimited signature authority for the execution of all branch programs which span the full range of research and development related actions.
    • You will assign contract and grant actions to branch specialists and provide overall direction for procurement planning, method of contracting, cost/price analysis needs, source selection strategy and negotiation.
    • You will direct the issuance of necessary contract modifications, negotiation of changes, exercise of options and investigations of contractor claims.
    • You will plan and assign work, oversee mandatory formal training requirements and carry out EEO policies for the Branch.
    • You will function as the primary point of contact and acquisition advisor to respective technical organizations served.
    • You will participate in strategic planning, policy matters and new contracting initiatives.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
