    Responsibilities

    You will:

    -Serve as a Training Specialist and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for classroom and virtual training programs; provide support to the EPA Contracting Officer regarding the development and deployment of selected training programs for core competency and leadership training programs. 

    -Collaborate in the design, development and deployment of classroom and virtual training assessments for assigned training programs; and capture, analyze, and make recommendations for improving the administration, delivery and course material for assigned training activities. Provide analysis and recommendations to the EPA National Training Manager (NTM) on new tools to utilize as part of the needs assessment process and provide advice to the NTM on new programs to support and enhance the EPA corporate approach to learning and development.

    -Support the development of eLearning courses which may contain a blend of training methods, (e.g. eLearning, video recording, narration, etc.) based on the objectives of the organization and its leadership. Coordinate and manage the posting/upload of eLearning courses to the agency learning management system.

    -Plan, coordinate and develop components of instructional design based on the findings of the analysis. Develops learning maps and performs learning analyses from the initial training level through the operating levels of tasks carried out by employees using a systems approach to training. Plan and organize the work, determine sources of information and conduct fact-findng.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be required to travel 1 to 5 days per month.
