    Nursing Assistant (NA) provides 24/7 coverage. They are the first person a Veteran encounters upon admission to unit. The NA ensures veteran is processed in and provides unit orientation, inventory of belongings, performs patient count and sleep round, EOC round and ensures Veterans are safe. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
    1. Vital signs
    2. Environment of Care rounds
    3. Orienting new admissions to unit
    4. Inventory of veteran belongings
    5. Health and Wellness Inspections
    6. Documenting in CPRS
    7. Perform patient count
    8. Sleep rounds
    9. Cleaning of reusable medical equipment
    10. Escorting Veterans to appointments
    11. Obtain Breathalyzers
    12. Obtain urine for Toxicology screen
    13. Use of Naloxone for opioid overdose
    14. Therapeutic interactions with Veterans

    Work Schedule: Rotating 8 hours shifts: including weekends and holidays
