    The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC).

    This Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) may be used to fill other Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), GS -2210- 14 positions within the FRTIB in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

    The major duties of the position are:

    • -Proposes and coordinates the OTS position of the FRTIB short- and long-range audit plans.
    • -Coordinates OTS activities for execution of audits.
    • -Integrates vulnerability and threat information to determine the risk to the agency.
    • -Develops and implements programs to quantify, rank and make decisions on how to handle risk in order to support the agency's risk management program.
    • -Interprets and communicates regulatory guidance across the agency.
    • -Develops IT compliance plans, strategy, metrics and tracking mechanisms for the agency.
    • -Reports compliance activities to management and external stakeholders such as audits, assessors and regulators.
    • -Manages an agency Security Education Training and Awareness program including role-based training, phishing assessments, skills assessment and metrics.
    • -Coordinates projects and programs by tracking schedules, funds and deliverables. Performs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
