    This position is located in the Office of International Visitors (OIV), Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Department of State. The Office of International Visitors is responsible for implementing the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). IVLP seeks to build mutual understanding between the U.S. and other nations through short-term visits to the U.S. for current and emerging foreign leaders.

    • Provides guidance and direction on programmatic, logistical and financial issues in the implementation of projects.
    • Maintains all necessary fiscal, financial and budgetary records of expenditures.
    • Conducts program and project evaluations to measure project effectiveness and impact on participants.
    • Represents the organization at conferences, appointments, and meetings.
    • Prepares oral and written briefings for senior officials, private-sector partners, and participants.
