    Lead an integrated program focused on stewardship of America's first wild and scenic river national park! The Division of Resource Stewardship and Education at St. Croix National Scenic Riverway includes management of natural and cultural resources and public engagement through visitor services, interpretation and education. The Riverway is a dynamic park with a strong internal team and an extensive network of engaged partners.

    This position is responsible for planning, directing, and executing all division functions. The Riverway's natural resource program encompasses inventory and monitoring; management to protect native species; and terrestrial restoration. Its cultural resources consist of museum collections and archives, historic sites and structures, and cultural landscapes. The interpretation and education program includes operation of two seasonal visitor centers, on- and off-site programming, interpretive media (publications, exhibits, audio-visual, digital), and public communications. The division chief also coordinates park planning and NEPA compliance.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to two-three nights per month for this position. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes
