    Summary

    This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM),  Business Operations Center (BOC), Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO). OCPO oversees all procurement-related services throughout DOL and develops and manages DOL procurement and grants management programs.

    Responsibilities

    This is a developmental position. At the GS-11, the incumbent performs the following duties:

    • Provide general oversight of DOL’s Acquisition Management System (AMS).
    • Identify OCPO’s IT system requirements and develop functional system specifications to fulfill these system requirements according to the strategic direction of the Department.
    • Review and analyze system functionality to ensure that compliance with all Federal and security requirements.
    • Monitor contract adherence to information security requirements.
    • Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the AMS contract with full authority and responsibility for directing and monitoring all phases of system development, deployment, and sustainment to ensure that contractors compliance with all contract terms and conditions.
