    The incumbent will serve as a health communications expert responsible for managing substantial communication and marketing resources and/or programs, providing counsel to program staff and management officials, and representing the program to internal and external audiences.

    • Lead or oversee the development and management of national or international communication and marketing programs, projects and strategies.
    • Provide consultation and technical expertise in the creation of strategic and integrated plans for public health communication and marketing programs, campaigns and activities.
    • Plan the work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for work completion.
    • Serve as a liaison between the agency and other communication and marketing staff on issues and networks with a variety of external stakeholders
    • Lead or conduct research and evaluation activities related to health communication and marketing.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 5% domestic travel may be expected for this position.
