    Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) is a program of the Department of Veterans Affairs created in 1979 to provide a broad range of psycho-social services to eligible Veterans, Service members, and their families to assist them in their readjustment to civilian life.

    The Associate District Director for Administration (ADDA) position is responsible for the administrative operations of Vet Centers within the RCS District Zone which consists of 16 to 25 Vet Center teams. the following duties include are not limited to the The Associate District Director for Administration (ADDA) position:

    • Manages all financial resources of the District Zone to include oversight of financial resources related to staff salaries, Vet Center and District Office space leases, employee travel, contract fee program, operating supplies, equipment purchases, purchase card
      management, Mobile Vet Center and government vehicle fleet management and all other expenses.
    • Serves as the primary Financial Manager, with full responsibility to plan, develop and execute the Budget for the assigned District Zone, maintaining a continuous awareness of available resources and utilization.
    • Provides consultation, assistance and guidance to Deputy District Director and Vet Center Directors to achieve maximum efficiency consistent with quality services and effective use of budgetary resources. He/she develops and provides training/education to all staff on regarding RCS budget formulation and execution in order to ensure efficient management of budget allocations.
    • Develops reports and makes presentations to senior leadership related to program outcomes and evaluation.
    • Coordinates reports and assures the accuracy of recurring and non-recurring reports, special reports, reviews, and, correspondence.

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, may be required to work some evenings and weekends.
