    Summary

    You will serve as a Electronic Engineer in the Engineer Technical Division, Electrical & Electronics Branch (N04723) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

    Responsibilities

    • You will interpret, select, adapt, and apply guidelines, precedents, and engineering principles and practices related to electronics engineering concepts, and the full range of engineering duties.
    • You will manage the maintenance, design, engineering, installation and upgrade of all shipboard navigation and machinery control electrical, electronics systems and communication systems.
    • You will manage the preparation of electrical load and fault current analyses.
    • You will investigate new commercial and military navigation and communication devices and systems to determine applicability to and/or effect to MSC Ships.
    • You will determine areas for investigation and/or improvement to improve efficiency and decrease costs.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
