    You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT & ACQUISITION DIVISION of ASN RDA WASHINGTON DC.

    Responsibilities

    • You will act as the senior expert on acquisition, contracting, and business policy matters, identify the need for policy changes in key problem areas, and analyze, develop and recommend acquisition, contracting, and business policies and procedures.
    • You will plan, direct, and oversee all contract management policies, programs, and objectives, formulate acquisition and contracting strategies, resolve contractual or legal problems, and advise on all aspects of contract and business management.
    • You will lead the review and assessment of acquisition strategies, contracting processes, solicitation documents, source selection plans, source selection documents, and contract award decisions for programs valued from $100 million to $1 billion.
    • You will serve as a staff analyst and review the business strategy, contract pricing, negotiation objectives, contract terms, legal constraints, and technical requirements for acquisition programs, and identify/develop solutions to program issues.
    • You will perform special studies and a variety of staff work (i.e. reports, briefings, correspondence, preparations for Congressional hearings) for higher authorities on contracting and acquisition matters.
