FUNCTIONS:
1. Effectively plans and implements the nursing process and the quality of care to patients requiring emergency nursing care.
2. Plans, directs and evaluates the quality of care and the nursing process in an acute care setting with varying diagnosis.
3. Develop and utilize personnel appropriately to implement expectations of the service line.
4. Assesses patients presenting for emergency care and triages based on history, physical assessment and chief complaint.
5. Initiates resuscitative and life or limb saving diagnostics, medications, and treatments.
6. Administers therapeutic measures.
7. Operates and monitors specialized equipment.
8. Initiates, participates and presents cases in multi-disciplinary conferences.
Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.
