As a Senior Human Resources Specialist/Technical Advisor, you will:
- Provide expert advice and authoritative information to the Deputy Director, top agency management, and program directors throughout the Service on a wide variety of highly-complex, controversial, and sensitive Human Resources (HR) problems and issues.
- Plan, organize, and conduct studies of major programs and systems.
- Perform extensive research, lead or conduct comprehensive reviews, and conducts program analyses to determine mission/program effectiveness, identifies issues and program impediments, and establishes courses of action necessary to enhance program effectiveness.
- Develop conclusions, recommendation, or proposal for executive approval, decision, review, or other consideration from sources internal or external to the area.
- Resolve any problems or conflicts that impede progress in carrying out assigned programs.
- Identify areas where current program policies are lacking, insufficient, or in conflict with other existing policies.
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to other lower-graded staff members assigned.
