    • Providing leadership, expertise and infrastructure for Data Sharing policy oversight, implementation, and ongoing policy development.
    • Identifying unresolved and emerging scientific, medical, public health, ethical, legal, and social issues raised by data sharing and recommending appropriate strategies to address these issues.
    • Planning and assigning work to staff based on management priorities, employee capabilities, and schedules.
    • Representing NIH in a variety of activities that promote NIH's role in science policy.
    • Preparing special studies and reports identifying NIH research opportunities and accomplishments and highlighting promising developments in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.
    • Participating in coordinating the review, analysis, and development of Federal policies to promote progress in data sharing and facilitating the exchange of information among Federal agencies, the academic research community and industry.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
