    The position is located in the Office of Human Resources Management. The incumbent will be responsible for working with clients, on strategic human capital initiatives, including providing guidance to all customers on all aspects of strategic workforce planning. As a Human Resources Specialist you will:

    Responsibilities

    • Guide workforce restructuring initiatives throughout Veterans Affairs
    • Work closely with internal and external groups to ensure restricting efforts are legally compliant
    • Analyze human resources issues to resolve a variety of problems related to workforce restricting
    • Provide guidance to agency personnel (managers, supervisors, employees, etc.) on workforce restructuring
    • Provide workforce data analytics through the development of reports
    • Work with clients on strategic human capital initiatives on all aspects of strategic workforce planning

    Occasional travel - Less than 10% travel may be required.
