This position in located in the Drug Enforcement Administration, Financial Management Division, Office of Resource Management in Arlington, VA.
The incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Performing a variety of analytical methodologies for determining effective and efficient processes to include: Cost analysis, management and workload studies; developing effective work processes
- Analyzing and updating DEA's position management tools, such as the Table of Organization (TO)
- Analyzing, evaluating and reviewing payroll issues, such as payroll projections, hiring plans, employee attrition, and developing policy and initiatives.

GS-11: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: evaluating on a quantitative or qualitative basis the effectiveness of a program in meeting goals and objectives; interpreting and applying regulations, laws, and guidance; performing data analysis to determine compliance with regulations, procedures and reporting requirements; and advising management on issues.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirement for the GS-11 level may be met by a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
