    Summary

    This position is located in the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) Headquarters office in Arlington, VA. OEA is a Department of Defense Field Activity reporting to the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition and Sustainment).

    Responsibilities

    Your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Serves as the Deputy Director for Programs, a principal advisor to the Director, Office of Economic Adjustment
    • Serves and assists the Director to ensure the continuity and conformity to the Defense Economic Adjustment Program to the Department's overall needs and objectives
    • Directs the professional staff to accomplish the goals and objectives established by the Director
    • Formulates plans and provides managerial expertise regarding all aspects for the component's programs of assistance, to include the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), Compatible Use (CU), Community Investment (CI) and resilience programs
    • Supervises, provides oversight, and advice concerning the OEA program of assistance and specific projects and intergovernmental affairs
    • Responds to inquiries about the OEA program of assistance and specific projects

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
