    Summary

    You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the MARINE CORPS COMMUNICATION DIRECTORATE of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

    Responsibilities

    • You will coordinate with adjacent and subordinate staff sections and communication strategy and operations offices in order to develop synchronized messaging about institutional isssues and goals.
    • You will create weekly reports scanning the information environment for issues of significance to the Marine Corps and explain the relevance and importance of those issues to senior leaders and communication professionals throughout the Marine Corps.
    • You will conduct primary research into audience and stakeholder knowledge and sentiment; develop and execute novel approaches to data collection that comply with existing laws and DoD policies regarding human subjects research.
    • You will develop detailed timelines and/or plans of action and milestones for complex communication campaigns that can be executed by other staff sections.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
