    The incumbent will help direct a program in Genome Engineering. S/he will provide bioinformatic support and working with the stakeholders in the Genome Engineering community to determine their needs; analyze DNA sequencing data using the latest computer programs to organize, analyze, and store the data; analyze the data to determine the genetic changes in genome engineering measurement experiments. The incumbent will work with NIST researchers to ensure that the data and the analysis is of high quality and the information derived from the data is supported. S/he will also consult with NIST staff to determine their bioinformatic needs; consult with stakeholders in the genome engineering community to determine how NIST can provide support to improve the quality of methods used for genome editing; and assist NIST to plan future projects to provide methods, data, and standards needed by the genome editing community.
