    This position is located in Defense Information Systems Agency, FEC/Workforce Services and Development Directorate at Fort Meade.

    • Serves as a HR Specialist and advisor with DISA management and the service provider Office responsible for a broad range of staffing functions.
    • Independently resolves difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the total human resource management program.
    • Monitors service provider's execution of DISA's staffing program. Performs quality control review of personnel-related actions processed in Defense Civilian Personnel DS to ensure information integrity regarding issues to include pay setting.
    • Identifies long and short term needs of serviced organizations. Provides advice and guidance to management officials on a variety of HR operational problems.
    • Supports DISA Aspiring Leaders Program. Participates in regional and selected national academic and business communities to hire students.
    • Maintains management support in hiring and placement of new student recruits and placements of graduate students.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
