    As a Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software) at the GS-2210-12/13 with a full performance level of GS-13, you will be part of CIO Federal IT Business Solutions, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for the active participation and task level delivery of the assigned programs, and serve as a customer relationship manager to the business leaders, managers, and users of the assigned IT programs.

    • Collect and validate requirements for medium to large, moderate to complex tasks in support of a project that requires a singular area of expertise.
    • Develops/builds IT solutions to meet the business requirements.
    • Perform ongoing routine application maintenance, production support, and troubleshoot existing information systems errors.
    • Configure and integrate solutions with other applications and platforms.
    • Designs, writes, tests, debugs, and maintains software applications that meet technical and functional requirements.
    • Coordinate with scrum masters, product owners and the scrum teams to provide technical solutions that address user needs.
    • Participates in project planning processes to include time, cost, and resource management.
    • Adheres to standards, procedures, and security policies as well as review modules for quality assurance.
    • Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules and test activities/results.
