This position serves as a Command Policy Analyst, GS-0301-14 in Army Futures Command (AFC), Command Initiative Group located in Austin, TX. - Responsible for overall development of publications to include developing an internal system for coordination and completion of publications for Army Futures Command (AFC).
- Daily coordination with Headquarters (HQDA), Department of Defense (DoD), and other senior agencies and departments to synchronize Army Futures Command (AFC) policies and publications and with higher-level guidance.
- Responsible for oversight of the Army Futures Command (AFC) Publication System Program that includes development and formulation of AFC procedural guidance for AFC personnel.
- Address policy shortfalls, limitations, and other conditions that might affect Army Futures Command (AFC?s) ability to provide high-level awareness of DoD and DA wide policy changes that might affect AFC staff and mission.
Occasional travel - 15% Temporary Duty Travel
