    Serves as Cost Monitoring Specialist (CMS) in a Contract Management Office (CMO).

    • Develops an annual cost monitoring plan.
    • Completes quarterly and annual cost monitoring reports.
    • Reviews contractor's proposals for allocation of overhead expenses.
    • Analyzes contractor plans and budgets reflecting sales and resulting bases used for allocation of overhead including details of individual cost elements comprising the total financial structure.
    • Performs analysis of contractor's final overhead proposals, forward pricing rates, billing rates, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), accounting changes, and other formula and allocation factors.
    • Conducts continuous review of contractor's written and actual practices in costing of direct and indirect labor and cost.
    • Maintains a variety of reports and other significant data related to monitoring contractor costs.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - Business travel required 20% of the time
