    Summary

    You will serve as an ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER in the ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL READINESS DIVISION of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

    Responsibilities

    • You will review offical legislation, regulations, and Presidential Executive Orders to provide policy direction for Navy's Environmental Readiness Division's programs.
    • You will develop policies that consider risks, costs, benefits, and impacts to Navy's mission and are compliant with Clean Water Act (CWA) and Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) regulations.
    • You will prepare and submit resource and assessment sponsor information for annual POM/Program Review submittals.
    • You will use knowledge of legally-driven compliance projects in order to project future resources needed.
    • You will represent the Navy at program manegement, policy, and technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders to support negotiations on complex or controversial issues.
    • You will serve as an advisor on Department of Defense and Department of Navy working groups for Clean Water Act (CWA) and Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) issues.
    • You will perform special studies and analysis on current and future program investments.
    • You will prepare and present briefing content for senior leadership regarding programming information.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position less than 25%.
