    Responsibilities

    • The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the technical expert for the Talent Acquisitions Program regarding Civilian Senior Executive (CSE) recruitment policies, case management, and research, develop, recommend, and implement policies, programs, and procedures in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Executive and Senior Professional Executive Development Program to include the responsibility for planning, developing and delivering the full range of related learning and development products and services for the executive cadre; prepares and briefs necessary slides to Senior Leaders in support of CSE talent acquisitions and executive development for the executive cadre.
    • Serves as the AF technical CSE recruiting expert by developing, designing, implementing, and providing guidance on policies, programs, procedures, and recruitment cases related to CSE talent acquisitions programs. Serves as the AF CSE Management Office (AF/DPS) Talent Acquisitions technical expert providing advice and assistance on CSE recruitment and staffing policy and cases.
    • Plans, develops, designs, implements, and provides guidance on policies, programs, and procedures related to CSE pipeline career development and leadership development programs. Serves as the AF CSE Management Office (AF/DPS) program lead providing expert technical advice and assistance on CSE executive development scheduling, facilitation, and program issues.
    • Serves as the AF Senior Executive Management Office operations program manager, analyst and integrator. Conducts complex reviews and assessments to ensure DPS policy and operations comply with statute OPM/DOD directives and AF instructions.
    • Recommends appropriate organization requirements to achieve stated goals and objectives of the office. Makes detailed studies or surveys of practices throughout the public and private sectors. Develops strategies and solutions to unusually complicated, complex or unique workforce challenges.
