    This position is with the Department of Homeland Security(DHS), U.S. Coast Guard, Assistant Commandant for Intelligence & Criminal Investigation, Intelligence Coordination Center, (ICC), Intelligence Processing Center (I2SPC) located in Suitland, MD.

    You will provide systems analysis and engineering, systems administration, and data management expertise to I2SPC SDI; responsible for troubleshooting problems, configuring hardware and software, analyzing performance, developing and implementing corrective actions to ensure the operability of mission systems.

    Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.  Typical work assignments include:

    • Providing specialized and technical IT services in the areas of: systems analysis and engineering; software and hardware development, implementation and maintenance; and network services.
    • Assisting in the development of hardware and software solutions to mitigate integration and interoperability issues, align IT systems and processes with organizational objectives, and provide or modify analytic capability to system users and intelligence program stakeholders.
    • Ensuring SDI data management practices are implemented in accordance with specified system guidelines, System of Records Notices (SORNs), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation, USCG and DHS policy and procedures, and other related documentation, as required.
    • Providing specialized and technical IT services in the areas of systems administration, customer support and Maritime Awareness Global Network (MAGNet) and MAGNet-affiliated systems operations.
    • Attending professional meetings, conferences, panels and committees involving members of professional societies, other government agencies, private organizations, advisory committees, etc. to coordinate I2SPC IT technical solutions within the Coast Guard, DHS, IC and other critical mission partners.
