This position is located in the Department of Commerce International Trade Administration (ITA). The incumbent will serve as the Privacy Shield Program Director. This position reports to the Director of the Office of Digital Services Industries and is the principal adviser on Privacy Shield issues for the European Union, Switzerland and any other relevant countries, including administration and management of the Privacy Shield program and policy issues related to the program.

INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (IOR): This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience in order to be found minimally qualified. You MUST meet one of the following requirements:
Undergraduate Education: Major study -- global business management, global public policy, international finance, business administration, textile and apparel studies, political science, economics, marketing, international trade, international business, international affairs, international relations, international economics, or other related fields of study.
Graduate Education: Major study -- international policy, international commerce, international management, intercultural relations, international development, global economy, government and foreign affairs, international business, international trade, international economics, international affairs, international relations, or other related fields of study.

Substitution of Experience: Experience that demonstrated the application of knowledge of international economic and political factors influencing the flow of goods and services between countries; the impact of government policies and regulations, business conditions, and market structures on international competitiveness; or of problems and techniques relating to the sales and marketing of goods and services in world markets.
